															The difference between cloud point and pour point are as follows-
| Cloud point | Pour point |

| When an oil sample cooled slowly, the temperature at which it appears hazy or cloudy is known as cloud point. | The temperature at which oil stops flowing even after tilting the glass tube containing the oil under test to horizontal position for 5 seconds is known as pour point | 
| It has comparatively higher value for an oil sample. | It has lower value for the same oil sample. | 
| It is more significant in case of fuel oils. | It is more significant in case of lubricating oils. | 
| It is obtained comparatively faster as it shows beginning solicitation. | It is obtained comparatively late as it shows complete solidification. |
