Difference between single phase rectifier and three phase rectifier

Following are the difference between single phase rectifier and three phase rectifier :

Single phase rectifier Three phase rectifier
Single phase rectifier delivered small amount of power to the load. Three phase rectifier delivered large amount of power to the load.
It required additional filter. It does not required additional filter.
It requires single phase power supply. It requires three phase power supply.
Its efficiency is low. Its efficiency is high.
It has less TUF (transformer utilization factor). It has more TUF (transformer utilization factor).
The ripple factor is more. The ripple factor is less.
It has less cost. It has more cost.
It has less PIV (peak inverse voltage). It has more PIV (peak inverse voltage)
The number of diodes are used in single phase rectifier are one, two and four. The number of diodes are used in single phase rectifier are three and six.
